L-Glutamic Acid
In food additives, it is mainly used in the production of monosodium glutamate, spices, and as a substitute for salt, nutritional supplements and biochemical reagents.
In the field of medicine, it can be used as a drug to participate in the metabolism of protein and sugar in the brain and promote the oxidation process. The product combines with ammonia in the body to form non-toxic glutamide, which reduces blood ammonia and alleviates liver coma symptoms.
